What will I learn?
In order to harness the best performance from kdb+ the q language will always be the optimum way to query your data. But there is also now a way to run SQL queries using KX SQL.
The focus of this course is an introduction to using SQL with the KX technology. You will learn how to run basic SQL queries, what SQL language is supported, how to apply parameters, perform pre-parsing and see interoperability in action.
Who is this course suitable for?
Aimed at beginners, particularly newcomers to kdb+/q who wish to use SQL to query their kdb data. No prior experience required, but some experience with SQL will be beneficial.

At the end of this course there is a project to complete and submit through the sandbox environment.
