  KDB Dev Level 3 Advanced IPC, memory management, parallelization not working :(

  Hi, I tried to launch the Advanced IPC lesson as part of the KDB Dev Level 3 course. The launcher doesn’t launch the sandbox environment (bar at the top that usually loads blue flashes red saying “error loading setup.sh”). I tried to skip over this lesson to the next one. Both the memory management and the parallelization lessons launch the sandbox and I run the ./setup.sh *seemingly* just fine, but when I launch a new KX developer tab, the message box that gives you the selection of which project to pick is not there – it just automatically launches the advanced debugging project which I last completed.

  
  

  I also tried making another account and opening those lessons and weirdly enough I get the same error with the red bar loading and the project sandbox glitch.

  I would really appreciate any help with this 🙂

  We did an update of the sandbox over the weekend and it looks to have broken this for you, sorry!

  I have disabled the autorunning of the ‘setup.sh’ script for now, give it another try and let us know how you get along.

    hi again, I finished the advanced IPC module and had run the setup file for advanced memory but on finishing, the KX developer sandbox loads up for the advanced IPC module (previous one). The dialogue box which prompts me to select which project I want to work on is not there even on refreshing the kx developer, closing and reopening it, and restarting my browser. I’ve tried skipping over this module and setting up the parallelization module but that is also not working after setup in the same way. 

    I’ve included logs after I run the set up for the adv. memory module. If you could help with this I would be very grateful.

      Hi Anda,

      While in KX Developer, can you go to Account Options -> Change Workspace.

      Once you click this, you will get a 500: Internal Error. Please wait a minute or two and then refresh the page. This should bring up the difference workspaces for you to choose.
